A Very RARE Pair of Ben Sherman Training Shoes in MINT condition. Limited Edition No 670 of 900. In 2002 Ben Sherman launched it’s GEORGE BEST Collection of Training Shoes based on the 1969 GEORGE BEST Stylo Matchmaker Training Shoes (A copy of the Original Advert is shown in the photograph and is included in the sale). In addition to the Training shoes they launched a wide and varied collection of Limited Edition fashion items (George Best is shown in a mounted photoprint signing various items of clothing at the launch and this mount is also included). In the shoe box there is also a Cloth Bag for the Training Shoes and Ben Sherman Tissue Paper. A Limited number of the first Training Shoes were numbered and one Training Shoe is SIGNED in Black Pen by GEORGE BEST. The Trainers are adult size 9 and 670 of 900 is marked on the end of the box and on the tongue under the laces. These come from a large, private collection owned by the co-author of the book `George Best A Celebration.
